Library Policies & Procedures
Book Checkouts:
• Student planner with barcode OR student ID is required to check out books.
• Your account must be in "good standing", meaning that you do not have any outstanding fines and/or books.
• You may check out books for up to 14 days (2 weeks). If you need them for a longer period of time, RENEW the books ON or BEFORE the due date.
• You may have up to 3 books checked out at one time.
Fines:
• Students who do not turn in books on time are charged 10 cents a day.
• Fines must be paid by the end of every month or you may not check out any more books.
• Damaged or lost books will be charged $25.
Behavior Expectations:
•Students are required to follow all school and district rules. In addition, students need to abide by the following rules while visiting the library:
• Be in proper school uniform.
• Keep voices to a minimum. This library is a QUIET workplace for EVERYONE.
• No food, drink or gum allowed.
• Be productive!
Computer Use:
• Computers are available on a first come, first serve basis and are for school-related work. No games.
• Only print school-related documents. Do not print more than 3-5 pages at once.
• Make sure to log out from all your accounts (Google, Schoology, etc.)

• You must ask your teacher for permission to visit the library during class time and to sign your student planner.
